Happy 2012!

Hi, everyone! I hope you all enjoyed the holiday season and had a fab New Year's! In honour of it now being 2012, I have a couple of resolutions I'd like to share with all of you.

My first is to post about all of our fave celeb outfits on a more regular, and QUICK, basis. With all of the eating, drinking and visiting I've been up to over the past few weeks, I've dropped the ball a little on starry-eyed and lustful. But no more! So keep checking back regularly for lust-worthy updates.

My second is a tad more personal, and quite honestly, already way hard for me. I hereby vow to to buy less inexpensive pieces, and instead invest in high quality, timeless clothing and accessories. Being the tee whore that I am, I already know that this is going to be difficult. Honestly, in just Wildfox alone, I have probably 15 tees. But I'm going to give this all I have to keep my eye on the prize (which is, as of now, an Alexander Wang Diego Bucket Bag - sigh).

What I'm Lusting After This Christmas

It's the most wonderful time of the year *sang in a singalong carolling voice*.

Happy Holidays, everyone! Isn't this time of year just the greatest? Being the lover of all things clothing, shoes and accessories that I am, it'd be a good guess to say that I only think so because of all the prettily wrapped packages my boyfriend, friends and family spoil me with, but such is not so. I love Christmas for the music, and the lights; the TV specials, and the food (yum). And, most importantly, for all of the time I get to spend with those dearest to me. There's nothing in the world that gives me the warm and fuzzies like a shared bottle of wine with girlfriends, or hitting up the spa with my mama, or trying to keep up with my boyfriend as we shred down the hills at Blue Mountain. Everything is just so...sparkly, and light, and joyous in December.

That being said, I do still squeal like a little girl when I unwrap that perfect gift I've been wanting all year.

Here's a list of the top three pressies I'm begging Santa for this December 25.

TNA Aspen Knee-Length Parka

Laugh as you might, you lucky Californians and other southern US'ers, but being Canadian, there is nothing more lust-worthy, or practical, to ask for at Christmas than an uber warm, super cozy parka. And the fact that this one by TNA, available at the always fashionable Aritzia, is adorable and slim-fitting (not bulky) to boot? Well, that's just a bonus on top of the lack of frost bite it allows! 

Just take it from the always stylish, talented and gorgeous actress, Ashley Greene: "In Vancouver, I found my favorite store on the face of the planet - Aritzia. Every time I filmed there, I'd basically clean out the store. It was a nice thing because they only had it in Canada, but now it's also in New York. I feel that's going to get me into a lot of trouble."

I feel your pain, Ashley, I feel your pain.

Nightcap High Neck Victorian Lace Dress

This dress literally makes me forget to breathe.  It's just...heaven, in dress form. It's ladylike yet sexy, and completely unexpected with its high neck and super mini, scalloped hem. Take a cue from Vanessa Hudgens or reality star Kristen Cavallari, who have both dawned similar dresses by the brand, and pair yours with loose, mused hair for a sexy, modern look.

Novella Royale Janis Bells

These extremely flared Janis Bells by Novella Royale are perfect for any bohemian babe's New Years party. Shimmery in all of their pewter glory, they'd be perfect with a sharp black blazer, slouchy white tank and fierce statement necklace for a night out on the town. Please, Santa, oh please? They're just so feminine, flattering and insanely comfy looking!

Vanessa Hudgens in Free People

Actress Vanessa Hudgens was photographed out and about with new boyfriend, Austin Butler, on November 26 in Venice Beach, California. For her afternoon stroll, Vanessa wore a Free People Suede Crop Tank, trendy Current/Elliot The Bell Jeans, an Ember Skye Nicole Fringe Handbag and a cozy Heartloom Courtney Cardigan. It's all very Vanessa; boho and endearingly messy. As always, I want every piece.

I must admit though, I was a little sad to see Vanessa so openly holding hands and smooching with her new beau. Is it pathetic I was totally holding out for a Troy and Gabriella Zanessa reunion? Let's all put it on our Christmas lists, and maybe it'll come true.

Emma Stone in Autumn Cashmere

Emma Stone was photographed out and about in NYC with her The Amazing Spiderman costar, and possible boyfriend (are they or aren't they?), Andrew Garfield on Tuesday, November 15.

For her morning stroll, Emma kept cozy in an Autumn Cashmere Fisherman Crew Sweater (chunky knits are a true must have for fall), some dark skinnies and a pair of flat, black, knee-high boots. How adorable is she in that beanie, by the way? This is casual done right. Good looking fisherman knits are hard to find, and when bulky, hard to look good in, but as always, the actress looks gorgeous here with an otherwise fitted ensemble.

Did any of you catch Emma on SNL this past Saturday? Andrew popped up near the end of her opening monologue, wherein the two defended their upcoming film to funny guy Andy Samberg.It's literally laugh-out-loud hilarious, so make sure to check it out on nbc.com!

Kristen Stewart: Breaking Dawn Appearance Outfits

One. More. Sleep.

This week, I have lived and breathed Breaking Dawn. I bought the soundtrack, watched the live feed of the premiere on Yahoo, and re-watched Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse all in one night. So excited.

In honour of Breaking Dawn being released at midnight tomorrow, here are the outfits Kristen Stewart (aka Bella Swan) has rocked while promoting hew new film.

Look Number One: J. Mendel Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear Sequin High Slit Dress

At the film's L.A. premiere on Monday, November 14, the soon-to-be mama vamp showed some serious leg while walking the black carpet in a J. Mendel Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear Sequin High Slit Dress, sky-high Jimmy Choo Vibe Platform Pumps and a gorgeous (gasp) $38,000 Neil Lane Sapphire Diamond Ring. With her long, dark tresses pulled back from her gorgeous face, Kristen's makeup called attention to her stunning green peepers and angled cheekbones. Girlfriend's got a great face.

Look Number Two: Camilla and Marc Skipperling Dress

On Thursday, November 10, the actress stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live where she fidgeted and talked her way through the interview. Here, Kristen wore a one-shoulder Camilla and Marc Skipperling Dress and bronzed Brian Atwood Maniac Pumps. The best part of this look, though? Her ponytail! I'm adoring her hair this long length, and the way she' been toying with it. Well played, Ms. Stewart.

Look Number Three: Monique Lhuillier Spring 2012 RTW Strapless Colourblock Dress

On Thursday, November 3, Kristen jumped aboard the colourblocking trend as she appeared on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno. The actress and her gams looked hot in a shortened Monique Lhuillier Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear Strapless Colourblock Dress, Jimmy Choo Vibe Pumps and her trusty Clover Two-Tone Ring.

Look Number Four: Marios Schwab Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear Swarovski Crystal Net Dress

Earlier that same Thursday, as Kristen's hands and feet got a little grimy, she absolutely shone (ha, get it, cause she's sparkly?)in a Marios Schwab Spring 2012 Ready-to-Wear Swarovski Crystal Net Dress while attending the Hand and Footprint Ceremony at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California. True to her edgy, eclectic self, the actress wore a pair of Vans Classic Slip On Sneakers while her footprints were forever immortalized in the cement. Charming, no?

 I gotta say, while Kristen always looks absolutely amazing at events, I really like her normal, everyday self. Out of everything she's worn thus far during the Breaking Dawn press circus, the one thing I've just had to have is this Aqua Plaid Crop with Shirred Sleeve. It's at the top of my Christmas list!

Actress Ashley Tisdale was spotted looking stylishly cozy on Tuesday, November 8 as she left Byron & Tracey salon in Beverly Hills, California. Later on in the day, she stopped by her (and my) favourite shop, Planet Blue.

For a leisurely afternoon of dolling up and buying sweet clothes I'm sure we'll all later drool over, Ashley chose to wear a fabulous, faux fur-lined WiNK Tiffany Jacket (which BFF Vanessa Hudgens has also dawned) and a pair of seventies inspired flared cords.

It's beginning!

Kristen Stewart was photographed arriving at LAX on Wednesday, November 22 in the afternoon. The Breaking Dawn actress is back in Los Angeles for her MTV First Interview, along with Twilight costars Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner.

As usual, Kristen was looking casually cool and laid back in her favourite pair of 7 For All Mankind the Skinny Jeans, a Market Patti Short Boxy-Top, Oliver Peoples Limited Edition Vintage Re-Release O'Malley Sunglasses and Nike Tenkay Low-Top Sneakers.
