Ashley was looking sunny and summery as she got her hair did in Wildfox Friday Night Jean Shorts in Light Acid, which she's been spotted in many times before, a Free People Short Sleeve High Low Cutout Top, Oliver Peoples Wilder Wayfarer Sunglasses and and Joie Leo Sandals.

What do you think about Ash's new hair? She tweeted Sunday afternoon "its summer and im ready for some FUN", but still, I think I kind of, sort of, by a little bit prefer girlfriend's hair brown. It's just...classier, maybe. Thoughts?

Ashley was looking feminine and adorable for her shopping day out in a Blue Life Short Sleeve Rolled V-Neck with Lace Back, Pleasure Doing Business Arrow 7 Band Woven Skirt, Joie Elvis Ankle Boots and Oliver Peoples Wilder Sunglasses. I enjoy the pale pink top, neutral booties and sunglasses and the patterned skirt. It all goes together so well. And the lace back of the tee is gorgeous. As always, love Blue Life! 

After spending the afternoon trolling the Beverly Hills shops, Ashley was seen carrying a bag full of Planet Blue goodies. Birthday gifts from her mom, perhaps? It was Ashley's 26 birthday this past Saturday (July 2). Happy belated, Ash!

UPDATE: Rachel Bilson in AG Adriano Goldschmied

Rachel Bilson, my personal style icon, was photographed having lunch with a friend at the Mustard Seed Cafe on Monday, June 27 in Los Feliz, California.

For her day date Rachel wore a bright pair of AG Adriano Goldschmied Farrah Skinny Crop Jeans in Ulta Violet, a James Perse Mini Rib Tank, her signature Ray Ban Wayfarers and Soludos Playa Seersucker Flat Espadrilles. I like how Rachel let her jeans carry the outfit here; it's a perfect example of how to rock the colour block trend without going overboard.

In other Rachel news, it's less than three months now until Hart of Dixie premieres on the CW! They've really amped up their promotion of it lately, showing promos almost every time the network has a commercial break. I'm quite excited to see Rachel act again, are you?

What I Love: Holiday Weekend

It's June 27, readers, which means for both my fellow Canadians and our lovely U.S. neighbours to the south, this coming weekend is going to stretch on three days rather than two! I hope your mini holiday will be jam-packed full of beaches, barbecues and other fabulous summertime things. I'll be celebrating my birthday! Even without the stress of work though, I know long weekends can sometimes be a little hectic. Why, you ask? Well, what are you going to wear to look great while you're hitting the beach, attending the barbecue or doing the other fabulous summertime things? Below are my top five necessary pieces for an easy, stylish summer long weekend.

Piece 1: Elizabeth and James Fairfax Sunglasses

If you can only buy one pair of sunnies this summer, make sure they're cat-eyed. The Fairfax Sunglasses by Elizabeth and James are an amazingly retro oversized pair that will protect your eyes while making you look fantastically seventies.

Piece 4: Blue Life Oh So Glam Dress

I've already made my obsession with Blue Life and Blu Moon quite clear on starry-eyed and lustful, and my instant love for this dress was no different. Throw it on for a night of patio drinks and you'll look effortlessly feminine and breezy. Bonus if your prettily-patterned bikini is visible from the low cut back!

Piece 5: J Brand Low Rise Cutoff Shorts

Numerous celebs (Ashley Benson, Rachel Bilson, Hilary Duff) have already been spotted in J Brand's colourful Mid Rise Skinnies, so I'm sure it's just a matter of times before we see them in these shorts as well! Emma Roberts in Genetic Denim

How this is my first post about Emma Roberts, Scream and The Art of Getting By actress and niece of Julia Roberts, I have no idea. She's styled by duo MAUDE, otherwise known as Emily Current and Merritt Elliott, designers of Current/Elliot, and always looks effortlessly cool, age-appropriate and a little bit edgy.

Here Emma is, making a phone call, outside of Bristol Farms on Tuesday, June 21, in Los Angeles.

For her grocery store outing Emma chose a pair of Genetic Denim Survivor Cut-off Cargo Shorts, Alexander Wang Zoe Oxfords and a white feathered tee. The combination of it all just screams summer chic to me. I love the geeky oxfords with the casual, slouchy cargo shorts, and I would kill to know who makes the tee. I love it. As I've said before, anything feathered gets me. And her hair colour is gorgeous.

I think I just developed a huge style crush.

Hilary Duff in Ksubi

Hilary Duff was photographed leaving Pace Restaurant in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 16, again rocking a sweet pair of coloured jeans.

For her nighttime meal Hilary wore a pair of sunny Ksubi Super Spray On Jeans, Kiki de Montparnasse Boyfriend Garter Tank and matching Brian Atwood Starlet Pumps.

Much like myself, Hilary really seems to love the bright denim trend that's exploding this summer. She also rocked a pair of crayon-ish J Brand Skinnies in Bright Royal just a couple weeks ago. Which of her two outfits do you prefer?
