Vanessa Hudgens in Blu Moon

HSM alum and female lead of the soon-to-be-released Journey to the Center of the Earth 2: The Mysterious Island, Vanessa Hudgens, was photographed heading to lunch with an unknown (and scruffily well-dressed himself) mystery man yesterday (August 21) in Los Angeles.

V was looking breezy, beautiful and predictably bohemian in a Blu Moon Summer Lovin' Maxi Dress. As always, LOVE her style here. Unfortunately for you (and me) this dress is sold out, dammit. Fingers crossed Planet Blue stocks up on it again!

Vanessa Hudgens in Blu Moon

Vanessa Hudgens and her newly-cropped hair were photographed hanging out with some girlfriends on Friday, July 22 in Venice, California.

Vanessa was looking beautifully breezy in a floral Blu Moon Cantina Diva Skirt, a Blue Life Bare Belly Tank and comfy Trove Tkees Open Toe Sandals. Nothing beats a maxi skirt in the summer, and Vanessa wears them so well. I also love the accessories she's wearing with the outfit. They add a bit of edgy to the otherwise girlishly summer ensemble.

What's everyone thinking about Nessa's new hairstyle? I've gotta admit, I'm kind of missing the longer locks, but she's so gorgeous she could shave her head completely, I'm sure, and still be a TOTAL babe. Thoughts? 

Ashley Tisdale in Blue Life

Ashley Tisdale was photographed shopping with her mom, Lisa, on Thursday, June 30 in Beverly Hills.

Ashley was looking feminine and adorable for her shopping day out in a Blue Life Short Sleeve Rolled V-Neck with Lace Back, Pleasure Doing Business Arrow 7 Band Woven Skirt, Joie Elvis Ankle Boots and Oliver Peoples Wilder Sunglasses. I enjoy the pale pink top, neutral booties and sunglasses and the patterned skirt. It all goes together so well. And the lace back of the tee is gorgeous. As always, love Blue Life! 

After spending the afternoon trolling the Beverly Hills shops, Ashley was seen carrying a bag full of Planet Blue goodies. Birthday gifts from her mom, perhaps? It was Ashley's 26 birthday this past Saturday (July 2). Happy belated, Ash!

Go Buy...Novella Royale "The Bell Bottom Pant"

Oh, Coachella. Year after year the Indie music festival causes me to drool over the fashion choices of actresses, musicians and socialites alike. Last year, it was Kate Bosworth's easy LNA tee and denim skirt combo. This year, Vanessa Hudgen's Novella Royale Pants.

After I saw pictures of Ms. Hudgens frolicking in the sun with fellow actor/new boyfriend Josh Hutcherson, I right away Google image'd her in hopes of finding out who made her amazing patterned pants. Store I Love: Planet Blue

Nothing says summer like easy breezy tanks, teeny tiny shorts and layers of piled on bangles, and nowhere will you find such essentially staple pieces as consistently as California's Planet Blue.


I'm sure you've seen your favourite fashionable celebs toting around the store's brightly-hued lime bags (Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, Brittany Snow and Kate Hudson are but a handful of its famous customers) and have more than likely lusted after one of their trademark Blu Moon Almost Famous Skirts or Blue Life Bare Belly Tanks! I have this skirt and absolutely love it. I basically live in it, honestly. It's so comfortable and no matter what you wear on top, be it a baggy tee or cropped Jen's Pirate Booty Cha Cha Tube Top a la Vanessa Hudgens above, you're bound to look amazing. And, well, almost famous.  Oh, and it comes in a variety of patterns and colours to suit every girls' tastes. How can you not buy it?


Piece 2: Goddis Zip-Up Hooded Poncho

It would be nice if every day all summer long were beautiful outside, all sunny and warm, but unfortunately, that probably won't happen. Don't let that get you down though, simply purchase this Zip-Up Hooded Poncho by Goddis and snuggle up with someone by the campfire! I love this sweater's neutral colouring and comfy, oversized fit. Perfect for cutoffs (like Siwy's Camilla Shorts below) and a pair of well worn leather booties. 


Piece 3: Blu Moon Summer Lovin' Dress

The Summer Lovin' Dress by Blu Moon has been spotted on Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Whitney Port and, as shown above, Brittany snow. Described by Planet Blue as a "feminine frock sure to bring about a summer of love," this dress is playfully sexy with its flirty frills and low cut back, and depending on the print you get, can be sweet (Ditzy Purple Floral), rocker-esque (Python) or tribally trendy (Black and White Motif). Style it with a leather bomber and chunky black heels like Brittany for a night out.


Piece 4: Single Chain Feather Earring

I love feathers, and purple is my favourite colour. Throw your hair in a somewhat messy top-knot, put these in your ears and voila! Instant hippie-chic. 


Piece 5: Siwy Camilla Shorts

Cut-offs are key for summer; all you need is them, a bikini and a cute floppy hat and you're ready for just about anything. Siwy's Camilla version is amazing- they sit a little higher in the back so your bum remains covered, and their pocket positioning is super flattering. I plan on living in these all summer long.
