UPDATE: Rachel Bilson in AG Adriano Goldschmied

Rachel Bilson, my personal style icon, was photographed having lunch with a friend at the Mustard Seed Cafe on Monday, June 27 in Los Feliz, California.

For her day date Rachel wore a bright pair of AG Adriano Goldschmied Farrah Skinny Crop Jeans in Ulta Violet, a James Perse Mini Rib Tank, her signature Ray Ban Wayfarers and Soludos Playa Seersucker Flat Espadrilles. I like how Rachel let her jeans carry the outfit here; it's a perfect example of how to rock the colour block trend without going overboard.

In other Rachel news, it's less than three months now until Hart of Dixie premieres on the CW! They've really amped up their promotion of it lately, showing promos almost every time the network has a commercial break. I'm quite excited to see Rachel act again, are you?

What I Love: Holiday Weekend

It's June 27, readers, which means for both my fellow Canadians and our lovely U.S. neighbours to the south, this coming weekend is going to stretch on three days rather than two! I hope your mini holiday will be jam-packed full of beaches, barbecues and other fabulous summertime things. I'll be celebrating my birthday! Even without the stress of work though, I know long weekends can sometimes be a little hectic. Why, you ask? Well, what are you going to wear to look great while you're hitting the beach, attending the barbecue or doing the other fabulous summertime things? Below are my top five necessary pieces for an easy, stylish summer long weekend.

Piece 1: Elizabeth and James Fairfax Sunglasses

If you can only buy one pair of sunnies this summer, make sure they're cat-eyed. The Fairfax Sunglasses by Elizabeth and James are an amazingly retro oversized pair that will protect your eyes while making you look fantastically seventies.

Piece 4: Blue Life Oh So Glam Dress

I've already made my obsession with Blue Life and Blu Moon quite clear on starry-eyed and lustful, and my instant love for this dress was no different. Throw it on for a night of patio drinks and you'll look effortlessly feminine and breezy. Bonus if your prettily-patterned bikini is visible from the low cut back!

Piece 5: J Brand Low Rise Cutoff Shorts

Numerous celebs (Ashley Benson, Rachel Bilson, Hilary Duff) have already been spotted in J Brand's colourful Mid Rise Skinnies, so I'm sure it's just a matter of times before we see them in these shorts as well! From purple to teal to light pink, the J Brand Low Rise Cutoff Shorts come in a variety of bright hues. Take your pick and pair them with a basic, slouchy tank and feathered gladiator sandals for a daring and eye-catching long weekend look!

Emma Roberts in Genetic Denim

How this is my first post about Emma Roberts, Scream and The Art of Getting By actress and niece of Julia Roberts, I have no idea. She's styled by duo MAUDE, otherwise known as Emily Current and Merritt Elliott, designers of Current/Elliot, and always looks effortlessly cool, age-appropriate and a little bit edgy.

Here Emma is, making a phone call, outside of Bristol Farms on Tuesday, June 21, in Los Angeles.

For her grocery store outing Emma chose a pair of Genetic Denim Survivor Cut-off Cargo Shorts, Alexander Wang Zoe Oxfords and a white feathered tee. The combination of it all just screams summer chic to me. I love the geeky oxfords with the casual, slouchy cargo shorts, and I would kill to know who makes the tee. I love it. As I've said before, anything feathered gets me. And her hair colour is gorgeous.

I think I just developed a huge style crush.

Ashley Greene in Koolaburra

Ashley Greene was photographed grabbing a bite to eat at Panera Bread on Monday, June 20 in Studio City, California.

The actress looked casually adorable and summery in Jet by John Eshaya Denim Shorts in Vintage Wash (which Ashley also wore to Coachella back in April), Elizabeth and James Madison Cateye Sunglasses, boho beaded Koolaburra Venus Fringe Sandals and a Melinda Maria Amy Magic Ring.

Hilary Duff in Ksubi

Hilary Duff was photographed leaving Pace Restaurant in Los Angeles on Thursday, June 16, again rocking a sweet pair of coloured jeans.

For her nighttime meal Hilary wore a pair of sunny Ksubi Super Spray On Jeans, Kiki de Montparnasse Boyfriend Garter Tank and matching Brian Atwood Starlet Pumps.

Much like myself, Hilary really seems to love the bright denim trend that's exploding this summer. She also rocked a pair of crayon-ish J Brand Skinnies in Bright Royal just a couple weeks ago. Which of her two outfits do you prefer?

Blake Lively in Chanel Haute Couture

It really seems to be the month of Blake Lively, doesn't it?

Last night (June 15) Blake attended a screening of her new film, The Green Lantern, at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, California.

For the screening Blake wore a Chanel Haute Couture Spring 2009 White Tulle Camelia Embroidered Dress, Christian Louboutin Fifi Strass Crystal Covered Pumps and a whole bunch of jewelry by Lorraine Schwartz, including the designer's Gold Bangle with Yellow and White Diamonds, Blackended White and Yellow Diamond Bangle, Yellow and White Diamond Chain Bracelet and Yellow Diamond and Ruby Ring.

Lucky Blake plays Carol Ferris in The Green Lantern, opening this Friday, Ryan Reynold's boss/love interest/fellow pilot. I'll definitely be seeing it, if only to catch a glimpse of Ryan sans shirt, will you?

Blake Lively in Tibi

On Tuesday, June 14, Blake Lively took some time away from new beau Leonardo DiCaprio to make an appearance on Live with Regis & Kelly at the ABC Studios in New York City. Blake was there to discuss her role in the soon-to-be-released film, The Green Lantern.

For her morning interview Blake wore a Tibi Floral Embroidery Cap Sleeve Dress, leopard print Charlotte Olympia Pumps and a Lorraine Schwartz White Diamond and Platinum Ring. While I'm not entirely sold on the leopard and floral pairing of the shoes and dress, I still think Ms. Livley looks crazy beautiful here. The cut and colour of her dress are fabulous. I love the feminine cap sleeves and flattering flared skirt, and that the low v back and miles of leg highlight Blake's classy (we still don't know the pictures are of her!)sexiness.

Oh, and as always, her hair is stunningly perfect.

Ashley Tisdale in M2F Denim

Ashley Tisdale was spotted attending Disney's 22nd Annual A Time for Heroes Benefit for the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation this past Sunday, June 12.

For the outdoor event Ashley wore a pair of M2F Skinny Jeans in Burch, a Free People Intimately Button Front Crop underneath a krisa Linen Oversized Tank, Dolce Vita Ellie Sandals and a Soixante Neuf Turquoise Tri Stone Shield Ring. I love this outfit on Ashley; the jeans, tank and sandals are perfectly neutral, allowing the Free People Crop and Soixante Neuf Ring (which has also been worn by Ash's BFF/ Highschool Musical costar Vanessa Hudgens) take center stage.

In other Ashley-related news; is it just me, or are any of you having a hard time accepting the fact Hellcats isn't returning for a second season? Every time I see a picture of Ashley, I feel my mood drop a notch or two. Shape up, CW!

Rosie Huntington-Whitley in Burberry Denim

The stunning Rosie-Huntington Whitely, star of the soon-to-be released Transformers Dark Side of the Moon, was photographed looking super stylish while catching a flight out of London, England at Heathrow Airport on Tuesday, June 8.

For her transatlantic flight Rosie rocked a pair of Burberry jeans, a leather jacket and a large, cozy patterned scarf. Personally I think the bag and scarf are the best parts of Rosie's outfit; the bag is so perfectly worn in, and the scarf adds a bit of pizazz to the otherwise basic-ness of the jeans and neutral flats.

On a side note, how gorgeous is this girl? When I heard they were going to be replacing Megan Fox for the final Transformers film, I must admit, I was a little skeptical based on Megan's hotness. Looks like they found her match in Rosie, though. I'm so excited for Transformers Dark Side of the Moon, are you?

Line I Love: Wildfox Couture

Ever since spotting Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Kristen Cavallari in Wilfox Couture's Feather Raglan back in 2008, I have been head-over-heels in love with the line. Created in 2007 by Emily Faulstich and Kimberley Gordon, childhood friends inspired by sleepovers, beautiful books, fairies, dreams, vintage t-shirts and their friendship, the knitwear brand originally consisting of only tees has progressed to now include distressed cut-offs and flattering skinny jeans, fun, graphic tanks, hoodies and sweatshirts, dresses and super soft sweatpants. Now that it's summer, I suggest you infuse some Wildfox into your wardrobe. The following are my four favourite pieces for the summer season:

Piece 1: The Heather High Waist Short in Light Acid Wash

As seen on Vanessa Hudgens at this year's Coachella Music Festival, the Heather High Waist Short in Light Acid Wash is the perfect alternative to your everyday denim cut-offs. They're a little bit 80's and a whole lot cool.

The best thing about Wildfox, hands down, is their prints! I know, I know. The Feather Raglan Tee is old (it's basically what put Wildfox on the map in the first place) but it's too cute not to mention! Besides, what screams summer of 2011 more than feathers? Wear it with short shorts and a pile of bangles for a bohemian, concert-ready look.

Piece 4: Wildfox Flamingo Tank

This Flamingo Tank will be perfect for the days it feels so impossibly hot you'd swear your skin could melt off. The back of it is impossibly teeny to show off your (safely developed) tan, plus the print is just...fun! Throw it overtop of your bikini while lounging poolside for a cute, beachy look.

Teresa Palmer in Michael Kors

Actress Teresa Palmer (I Am Number Four, Take Me Home Tonight) was photographed attending Australian in Film’s 2011 Breakthrough Awards on Tuesday, June 7, at the Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills, California. Boyfriend and fellow actor Scott Speedman (he's Canadian;represent!) was there to support Teresa, who was honoured at the awards.

Teresa was a knockout in a plum Michael Kors Fall 2011 Cashmere Racerback Tank Dress, a gold glitter "Garbo" Clutch by Raven Kauffman Couture and Aldo Shoes. I absolutely love the cut of this dress on Teresa; it's simple, well-fitted and shows off her rockin bod. Well done.

Kristen Stewart in Make Believe

Kristen Stewart, who is in London to begin filming her new movie Snow White and the Huntsman, was photographed arriving at Heathrow Airport earlier in the morning today (June 7).  

For the flight Kristen wore her favourite EC Star Clothing "Nuns With Guns" Hoodie, Vans Classic Slip On Sneakers, a Make Believe Geronimo Tank Top, 7 For All Mankind the Skinny Second Skin Jeggings and an Antique "Little Red Riding Hood" Spoon Ring.

Kristen looks much different here than she did all dolled up at the MTV Movie Awards, but still quite cool, I think. I love that she sticks to what she loves, dresses the way she likes and ignores what other people say. Because truthfully, there's nothing more stylish than that.

Ashley Greene in Michael Kors

Actress Ashley Greene was photographed attending the 2011 CFDA Fashion Awards at Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center in New York City  on Monday, June 6. The lucky girl, dressed head-to-toe in Michael Kors, had the designer as her date for the evening!

For her Awards outfit Ashley chose a highlighter bright Michael Kors Neon Pink Boucle Crepe Dress and Black Leather Cross Front Platform Heels, a Black Leather Box Clutch, Silvertone Clear Crystal Stud Earrings and a Silvertone Flat Runway Ring, all by the same designer. I'm loving the pink mixed with all black accessories, sleek hair and smoky eyes. It's rockerish and edgy and well, super hot.

2011 MTV Movie Awards Best Dressed

Last night (June 5) the 2011 MTV Movie Awards were held at the Gibson Ampitheatre in Universal City, California. While there were plenty of fab outfits to be seen on the many starlets in attendance, the following are my five favourites:

Best Dressed Number 1: Kristen Stewart

Kristen Stewart, recipient of many awards throughout the evening (Best Kiss, Best Film and Best Female Performance) rocked a Balmain Spring 2011 Ready-to-Wear Safety Pin and Star Embellished Dress. Combined with simple Christian Louboutin Chiara Satin Point Toe Pumps and bedhead hair, Kristen looked edgy and sexy, staying true to her personal style.

Best Dressed 2: Lily Collins

Lily Collins, actress of the soon-to-be released film Abduction and girlfriend of Twilight star Taylor Lautner, was youthful and on trend in a perfectly fitted D&G Dolce & Gabbana Leopard Sleeveless Shift Dress, military-inspired Christian Louboutin Loubout Ankle Boots and an eye-catching Alexis Bittar Woven Large Bracelet.

Best Dressed 3: Leighton Meester

Leighton Meester, who was nominated for Best Villain for her role in The Roommate, sparkled in a Balmain Fall 2011 Embellished Mirror Dress, Pierre Hardy Black and Silver Sandals and a Bulgari Monologo Pave Diamond Band Ring. Leighton's hair also looked gorgeous; much longer than on Gossip Girl and appropriately lightened for the upcoming summer months.

Best Dressed 4: Emma Stone

One of my personal favourite actresses, up-and-comer Emma Stone, wore a ladylike Bottega Veneta Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear Lace Dress, a Knot Clutch by the same designer and Casadei Fall 2011 Double Platform Pumps in a unique bronze-toned hue. I'm also loving Emma's hair back to its original red. She may be a natural blond, but I'm totally partial to this shade!

Best Dressed 5: Mila Kunis

Mila Kunis' mix of a basic black Balmain Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear Longsleeve Top and a stunning Fall 2011 Ready-to-Wear Metallic Band Mini Skirt was cool, effortless and insanely gorgeous. I couldn't take my eyes off of her as she was on stage being felt up by Justin Timberlake!

It seems Balmain may be the new favourite of Young Hollywood, wouldn't you agree? I understand why; they all absolutely shone in their metallic, sparkly and embellished dresses and skirts.

Go Buy...Novella Royale "The Bell Bottom Pant"

Oh, Coachella. Year after year the Indie music festival causes me to drool over the fashion choices of actresses, musicians and socialites alike. Last year, it was Kate Bosworth's easy LNA tee and denim skirt combo. This year, Vanessa Hudgen's Novella Royale Pants.

After I saw pictures of Ms. Hudgens frolicking in the sun with fellow actor/new boyfriend Josh Hutcherson, I right away Google image'd her in hopes of finding out who made her amazing patterned pants.
