Mischa Barton was spotted leaving Mahiki Night Club in London, England on Monday, May 23.

Mischa looked fresh-faced and happy for her night out across the pond in a patterned Matthew Williamson Top, sunny Willow Skirt and similarly-hued Charlotte Olympia Shoes. Everything about this outfit is quirky, fresh and youthful; I love the brightness of the skirt and shoes and how they match in colour but have contrasting textures. The pleats in the skirt are also great; super flattering for Mischa's sexy hips and curvy but toned legs!

Rachel Bilson in Paige Denim

Yesterday (May 26) Rachel Bilson, a true denim darling, was spotted having lunch with  on-and-off-again boyfriend and former fiance, Hayden Christensen, at a food truck in Los Angeles. According to blogger Jared Eng of JustJared.com, the two were famished from a morning house hunting together! Maybe the wedding will be on again soon?

Anyways, here Rachel is wearing her favourite Paige Premium Denim Skyline Ankle Skinny Jeans in Beachwood, a military style jacket, Ray Ban Wayfarers and an amazing pair of ankle booties. I'm not yet sure who makes the boots, but I'll try to hunt that information down for all of you. You know, in case seeing Rachel in them makes you want them as much as I do!

Hilary Duff in J Brand

Hilary Duff helped kick off Sobe's Try Everything Challenge at Madison Square Park on Wednesday, May 25 in New York City.

Hilary looked super springy in her J Brand 811 Mid-rise Skinny Jeans in Bright Royal, T by Alexander Wang Classic Mini Pocket Tank with a bright orange peekaboo bra underneath and a pair of glam metallic gladiator sandals.

I am absolutely dying to purchase a pair of the colourful J Brand 811 Mid-rise Skinnies but can't seem to find them anywhere here in southern Ontario, Canada! I've checked Holt Renfrew, Aritzia and Over the Rainbow with no luck so far! May just have to be an online purchase. Shopbop, Revolve Clothing or  J Brand Jeans, here I come!

Rachel Bilson Does Double Denim

One of my all time fave style icons, Rachel Bilson, was seen shopping with her mom, Janice the sex therapist, in Los Angeles on Monday, May 23. 

For her mother-daughter shopping excursion Rachel chose an AG Adriano Goldschmied Denim Jacket, black skinny jeans with an ankle zipper detail, her signature Ray Ban Wayfarers and a pair of earrings from pal/costar  in BFF and Baby Kate Bosworth and designer Cher Coulters' line, JewelMint.

Minka Kelly in Myne

Friday Night Lights and The Roommate actress, Minka Kelly, was seen arriving at the Westside Theatre in New York City on Wednesday, May 25 with 90210 actress AnnaLynne Mccord. Both ladies were looking great- I love AnnaLynne's denim shirt and Ray Ban Wayfarers-however this post is going to focus on Minka, as I'm a sucker for maxi skirts!

Minka chose a beautifully busy Myne Jazz Long Skirt, a low slung, braided belt,  Ray Ban Aviator Sunglasses and a tied white button up shirt for her NYC outing. I love the combination of the Aviators and the Skirt; they're both effortlessly cool and low key but still super stylish.

As for Minka, I don't know a whole lot about her since Friday Night Lights has never been a favourite of mine, but looking through pictures of her on other blogs I really, really like her style. Keep checking back if you're a fan; there will probably be many more posts about her on starry-eyed and lustful in the future!

Lindsay Lohan in Black Orchid

Lindsay Lohan had been spending a bit of time in Miami, Florida, over the last few days, partying with her little sister Ali and having her picture snapped for a Plum Magazine photo shoot. Here Lindsay is in a pair of Black Orchid denim shorts, a sheer black tee, Alaia Gladiator Sandal (boots?) and a pair of sweet shades. From the thighs up, I love the outfit, even the exposed zebra print bikini top. It's all quite edgy, in the best of ways. The shoes have to go, I'd say, but whatever, I'll let it pass. The awesome sunnies more than make up for them. Unfortunately, I can't find a website stocking these exact cutoffs, but both Revolve Clothing and Singer 22 stock Black Orchid, so keep checking back if you love these shorts as much as I do!

According to People, Lindsay was spotted at The Forge Restaurant while in Miami, and while there was wine at her table, she passed it up and instead munched Alaskan crab legs and pomegranate lamb spare ribs. Keep it up, Linds! She is such a funny, talented actress. I hope she gets back to work for all of our entertainment soon!

Store I Love: Planet Blue

Nothing says summer like easy breezy tanks, teeny tiny shorts and layers of piled on bangles, and nowhere will you find such essentially staple pieces as consistently as California's Planet Blue.


I'm sure you've seen your favourite fashionable celebs toting around the store's brightly-hued lime bags (Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens, Brittany Snow and Kate Hudson are but a handful of its famous customers) and have more than likely lusted after one of their trademark Blu Moon Almost Famous Skirts or Blue Life Bare Belly Tanks! But did you know that Planet Blue doesn't only sell pieces from its signature line? You can also count on them stocking Jen's Pirate Booty Tube Tops and Tunics, unique, bold necklaces, rings and bangles from Soixante Neuf and Kenny Guadalajara Shorts, to name but a few. 


The following are the top five pieces I'd name as my favourite from the store if someone were in front of me, scissors in hand, threatening to cut up my credit card if I didn't answer them which I loved best. Really though, I just want everything Planet Blue stocks.


Piece 1: The Blu Moon Almost Famous Skirt

I have this skirt and absolutely love it. I basically live in it, honestly. It's so comfortable and no matter what you wear on top, be it a baggy tee or cropped Jen's Pirate Booty Cha Cha Tube Top a la Vanessa Hudgens above, you're bound to look amazing. And, well, almost famous.  Oh, and it comes in a variety of patterns and colours to suit every girls' tastes. How can you not buy it?


Piece 2: Goddis Zip-Up Hooded Poncho

It would be nice if every day all summer long were beautiful outside, all sunny and warm, but unfortunately, that probably won't happen. Don't let that get you down though, simply purchase this Zip-Up Hooded Poncho by Goddis and snuggle up with someone by the campfire! I love this sweater's neutral colouring and comfy, oversized fit. Perfect for cutoffs (like Siwy's Camilla Shorts below) and a pair of well worn leather booties. 


Piece 3: Blu Moon Summer Lovin' Dress

The Summer Lovin' Dress by Blu Moon has been spotted on Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Whitney Port and, as shown above, Brittany snow. Described by Planet Blue as a "feminine frock sure to bring about a summer of love," this dress is playfully sexy with its flirty frills and low cut back, and depending on the print you get, can be sweet (Ditzy Purple Floral), rocker-esque (Python) or tribally trendy (Black and White Motif). Style it with a leather bomber and chunky black heels like Brittany for a night out.


Piece 4: Single Chain Feather Earring

I love feathers, and purple is my favourite colour. Throw your hair in a somewhat messy top-knot, put these in your ears and voila! Instant hippie-chic. 


Piece 5: Siwy Camilla Shorts

Cut-offs are key for summer; all you need is them, a bikini and a cute floppy hat and you're ready for just about anything. Siwy's Camilla version is amazing- they sit a little higher in the back so your bum remains covered, and their pocket positioning is super flattering. I plan on living in these all summer long.

Ashley Tisdale in Alice + Olivia

Ashley Tisdale posed for photos at Hotel Bayerischer Hof in Munich, Germany on Thursday, May 19. Ash has been touring Europe recently to promote her new film Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure.

For her photo call appearance Ashley wore an Alice + Olivia Blouson Tank Dress, nude Yves Saint Lauren Tribtoo Pumps and a Melinda Maria Moon and Star Necklace in gold. I think Ashley looks absolutely gorgeous here. Must be the hair; does it look different to you, readers? Often Ashley styles it in thick, voluminous waves. The sleek look suits her!

I'm going to have to watch Sharpay's Fabulous Adventure sometime soon. There's just something about musicals that makes me super happy. And though I'm not necessarily a girly girl pink lover myself, Sharpay's outfit choices are always...entertaining...to say the least. You can rent or buy the movie now in stores everywhere.

Mischa Barton is Pretty in Pink

Welcome back, Mischa Barton! This post may not be too informative as I don't yet know who makes Mischa's pretty dress or simple, feminine pumps, but I had to post her picture nonetheless. Maybe it's because I talked about Rachel Bilson yesterday so I'm feeling kind of nostalgic. Oh, how I miss The OC.


Anyway, here Mischa is, attending a cocktail party for the launch of Ice Imperial Moet and Chandon at Baoli Beach on Wednesday, May 18 at the Cannes International Film Festival in Cannes, France. 

I think Mischa is beautiful here! Her skin looks so pretty; the pink dress makes her absolutely glow! I also really like the necklace. It's classy and makes a statement without taking away from the gorgeous dress.


From what I hear, Mischa has a new movie to be released called Bhopal: A Prayer for Rain. Maybe she's ready for a career comeback? Fingers crossed!

Sienna Miller in Rag & Bone

Sienna Miller was spotted leaving the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London, England following a performance in Terence Rattigan's play, Flare Path.

Sienna is wearing a 7 For All Mankind Utility Shirt, dark skinny jeans and Rag & Bone Newbury Booties. I love denim-on-denim when it's done right, and this definitely is. The contrasting tones complement each other perfectly!

Rachel Bilson in Chanel

Rachel Bilson attended the CW Upfronts today (May 19), which were held at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City. Ms. Bilson was there to promote her new show, which I am so unexplainably excited for, Hart of Dixie.

For her first ever event promoting Hart of Dixie, Rachel wore a Chanel Couture Dress, Chanel Fine Jewlery Necklace and Brian Atwood pumps. As always she looked effortlessly pulled-together and jaw-droppingly beautiful. I'm also still loving her ombre hair. So pretty!

Normally I'm not a huge fan of the simple when it comes to fashion, but I have been absolutely obsessed with Ms. Bilson since her Summer Roberts days on The OC. The mini actress/InStyle contributer/designer manages to make me want everything she is wearing any time she's photographed. This outfit is no exception.

Thank you, Josh Schwartz, for giving Rachel a reason to get dressed up and have her picture taken again.

Ashley Tisdale is Crochet Cool

I must say,  I'm extremely excited about the whole seventies trend this summer. Whether it be flared jeans, colour blocking or long feather earings, it's all so romantic and laid-back cool. My favourite part of it all though? Crochet, definitely!

Vanessa Hudgens in Robin Brouillette

Vanessa Hudgens shone as she attended the launch of MyHabit.com at Skylight West on Wednesday, May 18, in New York City.

For her night out Vanessa wore a gorgeous shimmery Robin Brouillette Strapless Pleated Dress, a structured black blazer, some piled on, dangly bohemian necklaces, a hand full of rings and a bangle or ten on each wrist. No on can accesorize like Nessa. She has the boho-chic look down pat.

While at the event, Vanessa told my favourite blogger, Jared Eng of Justjared.com, that she maybe planned on starting her own blog!

"It’d be fun to blog about fashion, beauty, and just things I like. Kind of a lifestyle blog," she said. Please Vanessa, do it! I would love to hear her opinion about fashion and beauty trends.

Blake Lively's on a Boat!

My apologies, but I had to make an SNL reference with the title of this post. Blake Lively's seemingly become one of the show's sweethearts appearing as a guest host AND in Lonely Island's I Just Had Sex, so I couldn't resist.

Anyways, here the Gossip Girl star is, on a boat with Leonardo DiCaprio, looking absolutely stunning (as always). The photo was taken on Tuesday, May 17, at the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France. Now, I hate when celebrities are instantly assumed to be doin it' once they've been photographed together one measly time, but Leo and Blake are looking pretty chummy here. I wouldn't be opposed, though I'm always going to have a soft spot in my heart for Penn and Blake. Serena and Dan forever!

For her boating outfit Blake dawned a casual white shirt tunic, to-die-for Christian Louboutin Fred Flat Patent Shoes and a pale Chanel 2.55 Classic Flap Bag, which I someday, no matter what it takes, will own.

Kate Bosworth was photographed at LAX looking casually cool and totally flight appropriate on Sunday, May 16.

For her travelling outfit Kate chose a pair of slouchy khaki pants, a chunky knit black sweater, Joie Leo Sandals (which Ashley Tisdale has also recently been rocking) and a necklace from her own line, JewelMint.

Ashley Tisdale in Free People

Ashley Tisdale was seen leaving an acting class on Friday afternoon, May 13, in Studio City, California. Nice to see she's brushing up on her skills, though I already think she's a near perfect actress when it comes to playing Savannah in Hellcats. Girlfriend can make me laugh and cry all in one episode!

For her day out and about Ash chose to wear a Pleasure Doing Business 7 Band Skirt and a Free People Scalloped Lace Back Crop Top. I really love this outfit, especially the boots. They add a bohemian edge to the otherwise girly ensemble.

Vanessa Hudgens in Kettle Black

Personally, I think the best part about this year's Cannes Film Fesitval is the fact Vanessa Hudgens is there, and that she's been spotted out and about in some amazing summer outfits.

Vanessa was photographed at the Hotel Martinez in Nice, France, this Sunday (May 15) afternoon. For her sunny walk V chose a pair of Citizen of Humanity Dylan Drop Rise Loose Fit Shorts (her new fave, it seems, she also wore them to LAX on May 11), a Natalie B. Noga Tribe Necklace and an eye-catching pair of Kettle Black Pyramid Studded Sandles.

What I would give for just ten seconds in this girl's closet to grab whatever I wanted and go. There would be a mix of everything in there, from breezy, 1970's hippie-girl dresses to sexy biker boots and well-structured blazers. I'd never have to shop again! That is, until the next time she went on a Planet Blue shopping spree and I saw something I'd just have to have.

Sigh. She's amazing.

Kristen Stewart's Top Five

In honour of today being the most beautiful man in the history of the universe's birthday (Robert Pattinson, duh!) I have decided to blog about his lady friend Kristen Stewart's awesome red carpet style.


I'm not normally one to love gowns and fancy outfits, probably because I know I'll never in my life wear them, but Kristen always manages to impress me with her style choices at premiers, events and award shows. I don't know, I think it's because of her badass shoe choices, permanently mused hair and skinny-sexy bod.
